The waltz across the floor combination is a conglomeration of many different steps including an actual waltz step.
Typical steps in this combination include
Tendu
Pas de bourée
Chassé
Plié
Pirouette
Balancé
Waltz step
triple (3/4)
moderate - 182 bpm per quarter note
Very firm rhythmic structure
Crisp rhythm for pirouettes and a clear “oom-pah-pah" especially for the waltz steps.
This combination’s triple meter is usually more flowing than the previous pirouette combination.
The pianist may need to elongate/expand the introduction until the dancer is in place to start the combination.
Changes made in arranged score:
I added two bars of introduction to make it a full, standard four bars.
